Backup power solutions are sized according to connected equipment, system requirements, and desired runtime. Appropriate UPS capacity depends on equipment load, system design, desired runtime, and site requirements.
Access control
Every Imperium access-control system is designed with backup power. Access systems are engineered for continued operation and proper door behavior during power interruptions, based on selected hardware, system requirements, and applicable life-safety requirements.
Power protection
Proper grounding, bonding, and appropriate surge protection are incorporated where applicable in accordance with equipment, installation, code, manufacturer, and AHJ requirements.
